Vermont Vacation Rentals – Vermont Travel

Greater Burlington Area
Lake Champlain, located here, offers visitors a lake cruise to enjoy its beauty. Many vacation rentals are located right on the lake, where visitors can boat, fish and kayak. Montpelier
The capital of Vermont, Montpelier offers lots of sites to see in its historic district. The Vermont State House - located in the heart of Green Mountains - is the central building in the Historic District and is considered one of the most beautifully maintained capitol buildings in the Nation. The State House, designed in 1857, was intended to be similar in design to the nation's Capitol building, in hopes that in would inspire a similar kind of trust in government.
Covered Bridges and Maple Sugar Houses
Covered bridges are scattered throughout Vermont and are popular among sightseers who consider them a romantic excursion. You can pick up maps throughout the state directing you to many of the covered bridges. Vermont is the nation's leading producer of maple syrup and many visitors enjoying touring the maple sugar houses where they can see how maple syrup is made and sample the final product.
Other sites to see and things to do in Vermont include: Shelbourne Museum in Burlington; Vermont Institute of Natural Science in Woodstock; Church Street Marketplace in Burlington; Long Trail Brewing Company in Bridgewater Corners; and Wilson Castle in Green Mountains.
