One can visit Castletown House in Celbridge (30 mins), The K Club in Straffan (30 mins) where the Ryder Cup was played in 2007, Carton Estate and Golf Club in Maynooth, The National Stud Farm in Kildare Town (40 mins) and the Japaneese Gardens in Kildare Town. Glendalough in Co. Wicklow is within an hours drive and the Dublin and Wicklow mountains provide some beautiful scenery.
