This spectacular log cabin home is the perfect setting for family vacations or couples; celebrate an anniversary, honeymoon, or just a peaceful getaway to the mountains.
" Thank you sooooo much for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your home, we had such a wonderful time! The house is beautiful as well as the sights! One of my favorite things is the swing on the front porch! We hope to be able to stay there again, and maybe share our experience with 1 or 2 more couples. They were all so envious when they saw our photos. The house was wonderful, you were wonderful for accommodating us, the decorations were adorable, and the view was just amazing. Our Mt. Hideaway is located on an acre of private land and nestled within the mountains at an approximate elevation of 2800 feet. Its large wrap around deck offers breathtaking Mountain and Valley views, fresh mountain air, and nature�s ambiance. The Cane River is just a short walking distance from the cabin.
Enjoy the beauty and serenity of nature while sitting outside on our wooden swing or rocking chairs.
There is an expansive deck with a Hot Tub for five, BBQ gas grill and a picnic table for your leisure.
The cabin�s interior is all native pine with cathedral ceilings, French windows and decorated with all the comforts of home. Gather around the fireplace and enjoy the warmth that our cabin has to offer.
The kitchen is fully equipped to make your favorite meals.
The bedrooms are spacious with private full bathrooms. There is a dining area, living room area, plenty of linen, towels and all the rooms have cable TV and DVD player.
The bottom level has a sit-down area with an entertainment center to listen to your favorite CD�s. We have provided an 8 ft Slate Pool table, Foosball table and Electronic dart board for your entertainment.
Other amenities include washer/dryer, movies, board games, iron, blow dryer, garage, telephone and Internet service. Our cabin is also pet friendly (with prior approval).
We are conveniently located just 7 minutes from the historical town of Burnsville in Yancey County. You are close to civilization for shopping in a small town setting and yet far enough away to feel secluded. This unique charming town has art festivals, authentic craft shops, quilts, restaurants and lots of warm and friendly local hospitality. There are many things to do in this area, antique shops are both near and far, horseback riding, hiking, rafting, forest areas, waterfalls and surrounding mountains.
The city of Asheville is 30 minutes from the cabin; visit the famous Biltmore Estates, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
