Our secluded house is perched on an ancient sand dune and is surrounded by mature pine trees. This area is famous for biking and the 8 miles of winding rustic road in front of our house is the county's best. The lake's ever-changing moods can be viewed from thermal paned windows in almost every room. The use of natural stone makes the transformation from the comfortable inside to the outside dune environment seamless.
The lake can also be enjoyed from a sky deck or a large first floor deck that features a round picnic table, sun lounges and flowers. Stone pathways lead to a covered dune swing that is popular for romantic lake breakfasts.
Homemade toys, stargazing, games and a children's video room provide relaxation just before the sandman closes little eyes for sleep. Parents sometimes dig a puddle in the sand for wee ones to splash in and surround with sandcastles.
Beach fires, volleyball space and a shallow sand bottom provide a kids' water paradise on the quiet side of the peninsula. A petting farm and scenic cliffs are a few miles away.
This is a house keeping rental. You make your own beds with the linens we provide and clean the site for the next group. Towels are provided. Our trash recycling sections are clearly marked. |
