Relax and enjoy a book by the clubhouse pool, which is conveniently located just one door away while beach access is just a short walk from the house. For tennis fans, there are courts just down the street for your enjoyment. The streets are quiet and flat, perfect for biking and walking. Fishing, boating, and all sorts of water sporting activities are available in abundance in this beach area.
This three-story retreat has three floors of living space. The top floor has been newly renovated and is a great place to sneak away and relax. The view of the beach community and area is outstanding. The viewing room is perfect for an early morning cup of coffee while watching the sunrise or for taking in the sunset and entertaining in the evening. Indoors, the bottom floor has two sets of bunk beds, two roll-out couches and a sitting to enjoy an afternoon movie or ballgame via satellite reception.
Upstairs, the main floor provides a family room with a 31" television, a dining area, kitchen, laundry room with washer and dryer, and a main bedroom. Both floors contain full baths.
This beach house is perfect for those seeking vacation privacy and beach solitude. Skyrise condominiums are not to be found and so this beach village has the feel of beach get-aways from the past.
Yet, just a few miles down the road is the national recognized Kiva Dunes (#1 rated in Alabama) and Peninsula Golf Resorts. For the best golf vacations, our beachhouse is perfectly positioned. The area, a golfer's paradise, is filled with other outstanding golf courses that include The Woodlands, Cotton Creek, and the Lost Key Golf Club.
Just a short drive from our beach community are the amenities of Gulf Shores that provide for excitement and fun such as shopping malls, eateries, water parks, racetracks, cinemas, putt-putt golf courses, and whatever else you seek in a beach vacation. Additionally, for history enthusiasts, is famous Fort Morgan, a key battleground during the civil war.
Local morning dining can be found at famous TACKY JACK's restaurant on the water where you can enjoy a hearty farmer's omelet while viewing the boating festivities in the area. In the evening, try MANGO'S for excellent seafood and entertainment which includes crab racing (every 30 minutes) and live music. There are other activities for children, and keep in mind kids eat free every Tuesday night!
For waterpark excitement, be sure to visit WATERVILLE park where children (and adults! ) can experience the ultimate in water slides, wave pools, water rivers, roller coasters, racetracks, etc. As far as waterparks go, this place is one-of-a-kind! For putt-putt, try Pirates Island for two exciting courses with shade in the daytime and lights at night. For more putt-putt fun, take in Adventure Island which has two course layouts, a racetrack, and the best lasertag and arcade in the area.
For shopping excitement, visit Foley's Riviera Centre factory outlet mall with over 150 popular name brand stores. Just a 10 minute ride from Gulf Shores, it has everything. For the ultimate in shopping sophistication, take in the San Roc Cay Shopping Village where at H. L. Hood you can buy the finest in women's clothing, shoes, and accessories not found in typical stores. Also, you can choose between hundreds of bathing suits and coverups. For dining at San Roc Cay, visit famous LOUISIANA LAGINAPPE where you can get the best seafood with a southern cajun charm.
The vacation nightlife starts and ends with the locally famous FLORABAMA night club with live music and dancing from noontime until well after midnight. This place is famous for its "mullet toss" which is an annual event that brings in numerous local celebrities.
