Great winter skiing and snowboarding just 15 miles away. In the summer enjoy 108 feet of Coal Creek just off the large deck. Summer time visitors can enjoy two large swimming pools, tennis court and playground in the development. Hiking and biking are wonderful activities to enjoy in Packwood's sunny summer climate.
The town of Packwood offers shops, diners, taverns and restaurants. The community hosts many summer activities,from flea markets to car shows and jazz festivals. Quick access to Chinook Pass and to Paradise on Mount Rainier.
This cabin is a great spot for a family. The upstairs bedroom is private and looks out over the creek. Kids can enjoy the sleeping loft with built in daybed, log bunk bed and entertainment center. Games, movies,DVD's and Nintendo. The collection of bears in the cabin will make any visitor smile. The living room has a real river rock fireplace with bear paws built in! You have to look to find them, but they are there! The deck has a very nice hot tub to relax in and listen to the creek.
I like people to be able to relax and not have to worry about doing the laundry, I ask only that you leave the beds that have been slept in unmade, and that the place is left neat, you will find it very clean and neat when you arrive!
I am flexible about checkout times, if you are there to enjoy a weekend in Packwood, skiing or summer than I think you should have the time to enjoy it!
My cabin is very unique, in the past I have only rented it by word of mouth and have a steady little group of people who return, it is a very special place that I am happy to share with others who promise to take good care of it! It will be a delightful visit for you! |
