Locality
The villa is located on the outskirts of Varna, around 5km north east of Varna city cent re towards one of the main Black Sea beach resorts, "Golden Sands". The villa sits in the hills over the bay of Varna and affords a perfect view of the bay, Varna lake and the port. The drive from the airport is about half an hour.
Varna - 26 centuries of history
Varna was founded around the sixth century BC as a Greek colony by the name of Oddessos, which itself is built over a former Thracian settlement. The Romans then settled it and in particular made use of the nearby geothermal springs for their famous Roman baths. Indeed, the Roman bath in Varna is one of the most imposing in the Empire. It was re-named Varna by the Slavs in the seventh century and by the Middle Ages became a fortified town thriving on brisk sea trade. Several gold hoards have been discovered in the region and are displayed in the city's archaeological museum, including perhaps the oldest gold treasure ever found, being a 6,500 year old collection. The museum also houses a precious collection of orthodox icons from the 16th-19th century. Varna's orthodox Cathedral of the Assumption is one of the city's most impressive buildings.
The Villa - first class in every respect
The property is a three bedroom villa standing on four floors (a further bedroom is available on request) and has been designed and furnished by the owner to five star luxury standards throughout. It is suitable for both holidays and also longer term residential lettings, year round, as well as private parties and special occasions.
The premises were constructed in 2001 and comprise accommodation totalling 750 square metres. The entirety of the first, second and third floors are available for letting. The owner lives on the fourth floor.
Detailed specification:
First floor - relaxation and entertainment facilities. These include a large (75 sq. M) air conditioned recreational room, sauna with water massage, fully equipped fitness room, solarium and massage bed, table tennis, surround sound home cinema (including stereo video/DVD player, audio hi-fi), professionally designed and fully equipped bar, open fireplace
Second floor - this floor is around 60 sq. M and comprises a fully equipped kitchen, dining area seating six and living room with fireplace. In front of the living area is a 40 sq. M terrace with sun loungers and other furniture. Also on this level is the main entrance with lobby, reception desk, storeroom and toilet.
Third floor - three bedrooms, the first with en-suite bathroom (complete with body spa and dressing room). Two further bedrooms, with two toilets and one bathroom. All bedroom suites contain double beds. There is also a small office, equipped with PC, Internet connection, laser printer and scanner.
Additional facilities: Satellite TV and telephones in every room. Security is provided by an independent security company with radio security system (two panic buttons). There is an on-site heating system and two wells with automated pumps for emergency purposes, a central water supply system, garaging for one car and a parking area for a further three cars. There is a remote control system for opening the main gates.
A swimming pool is currently under construction. Pending its completion, occupants of the villa may use the facilities of the nearby hotel (20m from the villa) which has two swimming pools, a restaurant and barbecue area.
Rent includes: • electricity • water • heating • cleaning • washing linen (changed every three days) • basic hygiene • consumables ; transfer from Varna Airport
Rent excludes: • domestic and international telephone calls • Internet usage for longer term lettings, a separate telephone point can be arranged.
