La "casina" is an easy 90 drive (a1 highway) from airports in rome and florence and also 15 minutes from the city of chiusi, from where trains part for all major destinations. One can go horseback riding in the stables at nearby celle sul rigo mountain biking or hiking through the tuscan hills, or take the train to see the splendors of rome and florence and the many jewels in between. There are many superior restaurants in the area serving some of the local tuscan specialties, including the "ribollita" soup (vegetables and bread) and the "pici all'aglione" (homemade spaghetti made of water and flour in a tomato garlic sauce). Be sure to top it off with local extra virgin olive oil and chianti wines!
