Outside the Cottage door there is a gently flowing Creek. Cows and horses graze in the nearby pastures. The birds sing melodious tunes and the frogs announce that spring has arrived as you sit out on the deck or front porch and take in the scenery and beauty.
You may see hawks, squirrels, rabbits, deer, coyotes,turkeys and maybe even site an Eagle.
Outside your door of the Cabin or Duplex is a beautiful small stocked lake. All yours! Private and secluded!
IN THE EVENINGS AFTER CANOEING THE BLACK RIVER OR SEEING THE SITES relax around a campfire, listen to the whip-poor-wills sing and the owls call out.
Or (my favorite) take a walk down the road
With just the starry sky and full moon to

There are lots of woods to Explore and as you hike these hills you come upon creeks and springs. Enjoy fishing in our lake stocked with bluegill, bass and crappie.
Play, swim or fish at our favorite spot along Strother Creek, or Grandma's Creek as we call it, where crystal clear, clean waters flow.
FOR THE CHILDREN,
Let their imaginations soar as they play "Laura" from Little House or "Daniel Boone" in our rustic child's cabin playhouse or as they explore our special closet filled with dress-up clothes for girls and boys, cowboys and cowgirls alike.
