Villa Archer is very much a family "home" & is well equipped for 6 people who are accommodated very comfortably. The Villa comprises of 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom & 2 twin bedded rooms one of which has an en-suite bathroom, an additional two people can also be accommodated with an inflatable double air bed which is stabilized & of high quality, this can be placed in one of the other rooms. The Villa has an added advantage as it is air conditioned throughout, this also acts as heating during the cooler months. Villa Archer has been designed & furnished with adults in mind & therefore is not suitable for children under 8 years of age. The owners request that guests respect their wishes that Villa Archer remains a "Non Smoking" Villa inside.The spacious airy lounge is tastefully decorated & has an attached dining area which opens out onto the garden & patio area. There is a large 42" Flat Screen Television that receives both Portuguese stations & full sky satellite channels, to compliment the TV there is also a DVD player & an MP3 music station. There is a closed wood burning fire for the cooler months.
The modern fully fitted kitchen has a dishwasher, large American style fridge/freezer with ice maker, microwave, oven & hob & a washing machine. The kitchen opens out onto a separate patio area with a large table suitable for a relaxing "Breakfast".There is ample terrace furniture including sun loungers, table & chairs surrounding the enclosed garden area & pool. The salt water pool is heated for the cooler months, has a "Bubble Seat" & a Waterfall at the rear. There is a good sized Bar-B-Que available for use on the terrace.The Villa is double glazed throughout & there are Metal shutters fitted to all windows & doors for security. The villa also has mosquito nets on all windows & patio doors.Faro Airport is approximately 40 minutes drive from the Villa. The nearest beaches of Praia da Galé & Praia Grande are approximately 5 – 10 minutes away. Towns close to the Villa are Albufeira & Armaçao de Pera which have a good selection of shops, restaurants, supermarkets & nightlife entertainment.For guests wishing to have a quiet & relaxing holiday or maybe wishing to explore the Algarve or those who just prefer to have a good round of Golf, Villa Archer is situated in an excellent area with numerous golf courses to choose from including Salgados Golf which is within walking distance.Guests are provided with kitchen linen, bed linen, hand towels & bath towels all of which are changed once during a twice weekly visit by the maid. Beach towels are not provided. However guests are responsible for the removal of all rubbish and keeping Villa Archer generally clean during their stay.Access to Villa Archer is very good, however in view of the location we highly recommend transport, for your convenience this can be arranged prior to your arrival. Hire cars are relatively inexpensive and are usually picked up and dropped off at Faro airport. Please remember you must be in possession of a valid driving license if you intend to hire a car. |
