Casa da Familia is situated in a quiet residential cul-de-sac on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Alvor in the western Algarve & only a 50 minute drive from the International Airport at Faro & 5 minutes from the quality fine sandy beaches at Alvor & several golf courses are nearby such as Penina.
Casa da Familia is a spacious Villa offering very comfortable, modern accommodation for 8 people & is perfect for larger families. This Villa is double glazed throughout, is all on one level & is comprised of one large master bedroom with en-suite bath & shower, one double bedroom with en-suite shower room, 2 large twin bedded rooms with a separate bathroom & shower.
The kitchen is well equipped which features an oven, hob, microwave grill, fridge freezer, dishwasher & a breakfast table. The very large light & spacious lounge/dining area with seating for 8 people has a large ceiling fan & a wood burning stove for spring and autumn months. There is also a large TV with Satellite reception, video a& a CD/Cassette player. A cot and high chair is available for younger children
The sun terrace surrounds the swimming pool with steps at the shallow end which is ideal for children, the steps also contains a "Bubble" seat. The pretty garden is totally enclosed & has a waterfall/rockery feature & a large BBQ together with lawned areas. The gardener/handyman regularly visits to ensure that the swimming pool is well maintained & the garden is kept to a good standard. A maid service is provided twice weekly to ensure that fresh bed linen and bath/hand towels are available.
Casa da Familia is well placed for exploring the countryside, visiting one or more of the magnificent beaches, playing golf and other sports or for simply relaxing in the peaceful surroundings & taking in the beauty of the region. Many guests choose to eat out and experience traditional Portuguese food which is available at the many reasonably priced cafés & restaurants throughout the area.
Access to Casa da Familia is very good, however we emphasize that car rental is essential and this is best arranged prior to your arrival. Car Rental is relatively inexpensive & is picked up and dropped off at Faro Airport. |
