Thank you for your interest in our Maui condo. The village of Maalaea sits adjacent to Maalaea Bay, first stop for the humpback whales on their way into Hawaiian waters every winter to breed and give birth. You can discover the wonders of Maalaea just as the whales have known instinctively!
The Milowai condominium is located fifteen minutes from the airport and centrally located between Kaanapali on the west shore and Wailea to the south. You can be to most areas of interest in fifteen minutes. The unit is oceanfront and about 20 yards from the water’s edge. The grounds are meticulously maintained and landscaped with a swimming pool, barbecue area and lots of lounging space. The condo has its own lanai with spectacular views of Mt. Haleakala volcano and endless ocean. It is equipped with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, queen size bed in bedroom, sofa and recliner in living room, telephones with answering machine, two cable color TVs, DVD/VCR, and AM/FM stereo CD player.
Within walking distance is Maalaea Harbor with many ocean activities including snorkel trips, dinner cruises, whale watching and fishing expeditions. A short walk in the other direction takes you to the beginning of a seven mile stretch of white sand beach. Several award winning restaurants are in the area, including the fantastic Waterfront Restaurant right in the Milowai building. Be sure not to miss the Maui Ocean Center, a world class aquarium.
