Enjoy an old-fashioned "Up North" family cottage getaway in this quiet and very private beachfront A-frame cottage. The Little Bear Beach Cottage is located on Little Bear Lake (a local secret for great fishing) in Johannesburg, Michigan, just 30 minutes from Gaylord. The lake is a private all-sports lake that is 128 acres. Adjacent Big Bear Lake is a public lake that is 350 acres.
This two-story cottage is very clean and has new flooring throughout. It has a sandy beach and convenient boat dock for easy enjoyment of water sports. Down BY the lake is a shed with a refrigerator and a campfire area for evening ghost stories or fresh s'mores. Free local phone calls. Paddle boat, rowboat and dock are included. Reservation/damage deposit required.
This cozy three-bedroom cottage that sleeps eight is clean, modern and comfortable. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, bedroom #2 has a queen size futon, bedroom #3 has two twins and the family room has a sleeper sofa that will sleep two. Living room amenities include: 27" TV, DVD player, VCR, board games and kids videos.
The kitchen is fully equipped with range, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, toaster, blender and all cooking utensils. We also have a full-sized washer and dryer. For some outdoor cooking, you'll find a gas grill and picnic table. There is a shed BY the water that has electricity and a small fridge and a charcoal grill for beach-front cooking.
Activities: in Lewiston, there are snowmobile and jet ski rentals. They will deliver and pick-up from the cottage!!!! Also, there is a family fun center with putt-putt, go-carts and video games - only 20 minutes away.
