Tucked within the trees, Cabin in the Pines is an awesome mountain chalet in the Smokies. The chalet is surrounded on three sides by a 400 square foot elevated deck which backs into the Nantahala Forest. Upstairs is a huge loft with king size bed with your own private bath and sitting area. Downstairs is another bedroom and bath allowing for a great deal of privacy for all. The kitchen has everything you need including a microwave, waffle iron, blender, etc. An added bonus is the delicious mountain water right out of the tap! This part of the Smoky Mountains is close to so many activities that you won't have time for them all. You can visit the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, take the Smoky Mountain Railroad, whitewater raft, hike the Appalachian Trail, and more. For night time amusement, you can find some local and fun music venues for an evening of bluegrass, clogging, or even old time Gospel.
